Extensive editing and retouching

As the term implies, this goes well beyond the basic editing procedures of cropping, exposure and contrast adjustments and color balance. In addition to the basic adjustments, more extensive editing will involve smoothing or removal of skin imperfections such as scratches, pimples/acne, blemishes, rashes, etc. Includes eye work such as cleaning up capillaries and redness, enhancing pupil/iris and possibly slight reshaping of eye as needed or as requested. The eye area may also involve removing dark areas below eyes and/or bags below eyes. Airbrush/software applications to enhance overall look and smoothness of skin as needed but not to be over done so as to leave the skin with a natural looking texture. Additionally, other work could be removal of stray hairs, undesirable lint, dust or blemishes on clothing, teeth whitening/stain removal, body nipping and tucking, etc. All or some of the above will be done on an “as needed” basis. Generally, headshots will not be given very extensive work as the purpose of a headshot is to let an agency or other potentially interested party see a true representation of what the subject looks like. Some extensive editing can be done such as removal of lint or hairs from face and clothing and some minor skin and eye work, but nothing too extensive. In addition to all work listed above, requests for conversion to b&w, sepia, selenium tones, aged photograph, and other such aesthetics can be involved and requested in extensive editing. Over the years, I have acquired a style and look in post processing that is unique to my work and can be seen in much of what I do. If your interested in booking me its probably because you like my work and the overall look I achieve, and so inherently you will get this style and look in the photos from our session, especially the ones receiving more extensive editing.
